Poem - Quiet Fervor

Once we embraced in the dewy grass,
underneath the pitch of night
Admiring the diamonds
that danced in the Heavens
While the world rested as a languid cat
on the backs of heros and giants.

Our silence spoke volumes,
telling secrets of our histories to the Lord of the Wind.
